British Waterways will soon be starting work on a major programme of work on the Regents Canal towing path between Old Ford Road and Camden Town, including the whole Hackney stretch. In addition to surface improvements, there will be new signage, mirrors under bridges, and even rumble strips and chicanes, designed to slow down some of the less thoughtful people who cycle along the canal. We support pedestrian priority on the towpath. Nice and slow, everybody!
